Welcome Melanie!

Gals, I invited my friend Melanie to join our bookclub and she has accepted. Melanie is a new mother to sweet little Ellis Anne. How old is she now, Melanie? 3 or 4 months?

I met Melanie through a group of Jewish couples several years ago. Pre-kiddo days, we used to get together at each other's houses once a month, but now, well... it's sort of disbanded. Melanie works at Texas Children's, is married to a great guy named Todd, and lives here in Houston in the Heights.

I'm so glad she agreed to join our club. We all know how hard it can be to be a new mother, figuring it all out. She just recently returned to work, so we understand, Mel, if you have trouble reading a book a month. We're happy to have you. :)
